Fotoman cone caps are molded from flexible ABS plastic. The caps aid in protecting the backside of your valuable lenses while not in use.  Four threaded brass inserts accept the cone mounting screws that were used to mount the cone to the camera. This makes for a rigid unit that seals the rear of the cone assembly and lens protecting it from dust and debris.
